Hamlet is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays so I really enjoyed working on this project. Of my many sketches, my favorite ideas were either focusing on the ghost of Hamlet’s father or Hamlet’s iconic “to be or not to be” speech. My concept for this poster involves Hamlet’s contemplation of death and how tied he is to continuing his life. When gazing at himself in a mirror during this monologue would he be imagining sheer utter nonexistance?
